The University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi, approved an introduction of Computer Application to the premier college in the very first phase in 1994 as three year degree (Honors) course.

Several batches of Computer Applications students have already passed out and are well placed with prominent National and Multinational companies in India and abroad or are pursuing higher education in prominent institutes.

Aim  & Objective

The aims and objectives of the department/institution are given below :

To produce computer professionals with thorough knowledge, professional confidence and

 analytical skills to take up the challenges of the dynamic computer and IT industry.
To develop leadership skills and spirit of excellence in our students.
To prepare students to face the dynamic IT industry and its challenges.

Course Structure:-

The proposed CBCS system has the potential of providing a choice of a wide spectrum of subjects/branches of subjects to students in pursuit of achieving their cherished goals. This system has been globally accepted and now has become the need of the day. The UGC also has provided guidelines to the Universities for consideration and implementation of CBCS.

The University Department of Computer Applications proposes the following courses and credits to be initiated at BCA w.e.f. the session 2015-18. 

Selecion Procedures:-

Students will be selected through Entrance Aptitude Test followed by counseling conducted by the college.

Final selection will be made after counseling of screened candidates in person.

Admission for NRI quota seats will be made after satisfactory performance of the candidates in special test/viva voice.

Teaching and Learning:-

Different tangible measures are being adopted to bring about conspicuous improvement in the
College in the teaching and learning process. A broad description of it is mentioned below:
