It is a pleasure, a privilege and a responsibility to be part of this century-old institution of higher learning. To be a ‘Columbian’ is to lead a way of life set by the highest standards of discipline, dedication and devotion to one’s academic, individual and social pursuits. St. Columba’s College has proved its mettle over the last century as the leader in academic aspiration of innumerable students, who have, after their education from this college, have made a notable contribution to the society in all walks of life.

The college administration along with its dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff has been actively involved in the inculcation of appropriate values and customs among students, shaping and readying them for the future. It is our belief that we would continue to impart value-based education along with professional skills and dexterity to the students through an active participation of all its stakeholders, administration, teachers, staff, students, alumni, parents and guardians.

St. Columba’s College today stands proudly as one of the oldest constituent units under Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh, with a NAAC B++ grading. It is now a Post-Graduate Institution with 16 undergraduate departments,

7 post-graduate departments and 3 self-financed departments.
