RESEARCH COMMITTEE

Research is a crucial activity for any college. Standard research activities generate new knowledge and skills, besides update existing ones. We can bring a shift in the paradigm from teacher-fuelled learning to students-initiated research and book based learning, to students creating their own meaning. In pusuit of the above, the college has a strong foundation of research work performed by all teachers of the college in humanities, social sciences and sciences. The research cell of the college provides ample support for such activities. Although the college is not a dedicated research institution like the university, yet the committee makes necessary encouragements and provides timele information regarding research aveneues open to researchers. It also promotes research scholars, inspire fellows, and students at the masters level to use the resources available at the college level in pursuance of research.
